Text of video:
“Like many British Columbians, I cherish the time that I’m able to spend outdoors hunting and fishing. Foundational to protecting the right to hunt and fish is the need for healthy and abundant fish and wildlife resources. This interdependent relationship ensures that fish and wildlife are conserved and protected, while providing sustenance, health and spiritual renewal for all.

As Premier of British Columbia I will amend the Hunting and Fishing Heritage Act to affirm a person’s right to hunt and fish, consistent with the duty to indigenous people, subject only to conservation and public safety.

I will recognize and advocate for fish and wildlife as a common property resource that belongs to all British Columbians.

I will direct all revenue from hunting and fishing licences to a dedicated fund managed by and for hunters and fishermen for the conservation and stewardship of fish and wildlife.”
