WATCH: Peter Milobar Calls Out the NDP's Budget Disaster

...and he has a plan to fix it.

After nine years in power, the NDP has driven British Columbia’s finances off a cliff. Their 2026 budget isn’t a plan to fix what’s broken — it’s proof they don’t know how.

When the NDP took government in 2017, they inherited a surplus and a province with a AAA credit rating. Today, British Columbians are staring down a record $13.3 billion deficit — up 38% in a single year — with no realistic plan to bring it under control.

The provincial debt is set to reach $234 billion by 2028-29, more than tripling since the NDP took office. That means $3.8 billion a year just to service the debt — money that could be funding hospitals, roads, and services British Columbians actually need.
